A New Partnership with the Mecklenburg County ABC Board

The Mecklenburg County ABC Board offers charitable grants each year to local organizations providing education, prevention, treatment and/or research of alcohol and/or substance use disorder. In the ABC Board’s most recent grant cycle for their Community Health & Wellness Small Grant Program, several grassroots charitable organizations received funding for their work in this space. To help administer the funds, ABC reached out to Ascend to serve as the fiscal sponsor for eight of their grantees. We are proud to support the important work of these organizations and the ABC Board’s mission to address alcohol and substance abuse in our community.
