We are excited to welcome Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas as our newest partner! Beginning in July, Ascend Nonprofit Solutions began providing JACC with financial management services. They are the 17th agency that is currently a part of Shared Services.
Junior Achievement sites expertise in nonprofit accounting, collaborative in-house teams, and strong recommendations from existing partners as reasons that led them to utilize our financial services. There was also an appreciation that Ascend is a fellow nonprofit, and understands the unique opportunities and challenges that brings. This is a special milestone for Ascend we have been focused on expanding Shared Services to more organizations in need of support, particularly outside of the Ascend Nonprofit Center.
Junior Achievement’s President and CECO, Dorothy Gorman, expressed gratitude for the value that has already been added to their operation since coming on board. She shared that the transition to our system was seamless and painless, and that we have already identified ways to redirect funds back in to their budget. “JA equips students with tools to build their financial well-being. It’s imperative – and mission aligned – that we have strong practice and process when it comes to finance and accounting,” Gorman says. “We are thrilled to partner with the Ascend team to extend our mission even further.” Thank you, JACC, for entrusting us and allowing us to serve you!
