Care Ring Client Becomes Agency Intern

Care Ring’s Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program provides a personal nurse to support pregnant women living in Mecklenburg County. To be eligible for the program, a pregnant woman must meet the income requirements. A graduate of the NFP program recently surprised her NFP nurse by becoming a Care Ring intern. After receiving care from her nurse during her pregnancy, she has decided to go to school to become a registered nurse (RN). Watch the touching reunion here.
