Collaboration Assists Tenant in Find Housing

Two of our partner agencies, Community Link and United Way of Central Carolinas, collaborated with one of our Shared Services agencies, Charlotte Family Housing, and Mecklenburg County to assist tenants of Lake Arbor apartments when they were displaced in December 2019.  Charlotte Family Housing shared an update from one of the former Lake Arbor tenants that recently graduated from their program with stable housing, her first checking account and an established home business.  Read Shante’s story here to learn how collaboration helped her get where she is now.
