Denim Day – April 26
Next Wednesday, April 26th is national Denim Day. As you may know, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Denim Day is a rape prevention and education campaign, asking community members to wear jeans on this day as a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual violence. We are encouraging organizations we work with in the community to participate by allowing their employees to donate $5 in order to wear jeans on the 26th.
